A Day in the Life
Clean and prepare hotel guest rooms and suites to brand standard — making beds, cleaning bathrooms, replenishing amenities, and turning rooms for arriving guests.
- Clean and sanitize assigned guest rooms (typically 12–16 rooms per shift)
- Make beds to hotel brand standard (hospital corners, pillow alignment)
- Deep clean bathrooms — toilet, shower, bath, floors, mirrors
- Replenish toiletries, towels, minibar, and stationery to standard levels
- Report maintenance issues (broken fixtures, plumbing, electrical) via HotSOS
- Handle guest requests (extra towels, pillows, ironing boards)
- Turn down rooms for evening (some luxury properties)
- Maintain housekeeping trolley organization and chemical safety
