A Day in the Life

Be the first point of contact for hotel guests — managing check-ins, check-outs, room assignments, billing, and guest inquiries at the front desk of a hotel in Sri Lanka.

  • Welcome arriving guests and complete check-in procedures
  • Assign rooms, process payment, and issue key cards
  • Respond to guest inquiries (local attractions, transportation, restaurants)

Shift rotation includes nights, weekends, and public holidays. Balance is manageable if shifts are structured, but peak season (Dec–March) adds pressure.
