  • Interpret and apply local (SLSI, NMRA) and international food regulations (FDA, EFSA, Codex Alimentarius).
  • Review product formulations, ingredients, and labeling for compliance.
  • Prepare and submit regulatory dossiers and applications for product registration and export permits.
  • Advise R&D, marketing, and production teams on regulatory requirements for new and existing products.
  • Monitor changes in food legislation and assess their impact on company products.
  • Manage communication with regulatory authorities and respond to inquiries.
  • Ensure compliance with advertising and health claim regulations.
  • Conduct internal audits to verify regulatory adherence.
  • Provide training to internal teams on regulatory best practices.
