A Day in the Life
Lead quality assurance and food safety strategy across a food manufacturing organization — setting quality standards, managing regulatory compliance, leading QA teams, and driving a company-wide quality culture.
- Set and govern company-wide food quality and safety standards (GMP, HACCP, ISO 22000)
- Lead quality management system audits and regulatory inspections (SLSI, SFA, export market regulators)
- Review and approve product specifications, QC testing protocols, and release criteria
- Investigate and resolve major quality failures, product recalls, and customer complaints
- Lead cross-functional quality improvement initiatives with production, R&D, and supply chain
- Build and develop quality assurance team capability across all factory sites
- Report quality KPIs to CEO and board — defect rates, customer complaints, audit results
- Manage relationships with regulatory bodies, certification bodies, and major retail customers on quality

Senior executive role spanning QA laboratory, production floor, and management office. Represents the organization on quality to regulators, retail customers, and export market authorities. Strategic and operational quality leadership.
