A Day in the Life
Supervise food production line operations — directing line workers, ensuring GMP compliance, monitoring output quality, and reporting shift performance to production management.
- Brief production line team on daily targets, product specifications, and safety requirements
- Monitor production line throughput and quality against shift targets
- Ensure GMP, hygiene, and food safety compliance by all line workers
- Record shift production data — output, downtime, waste, and quality deviations
- Coordinate with QA on in-process quality checks and CCP monitoring
- Train and coach line workers on production procedures and standards
- Escalate equipment faults, quality issues, and safety concerns to management
- Lead changeover procedures between product runs
Work Environment
Food production floor across shift hours. First management level in factory operations. Combines technical production knowledge with team leadership. Uniform and PPE required.
