A Day in the Life

Support food quality control and R&D laboratory operations — conducting routine tests, preparing samples, maintaining equipment, and recording analytical results for food manufacturing.

  • Conduct routine physicochemical tests on raw materials, in-process, and finished products
  • Prepare samples for microbiological, chemical, and sensory testing
  • Operate and maintain laboratory instruments (pH meter, moisture analyzer, spectrophotometer)
  • Record test results in lab logbooks and quality management systems
  • Prepare reagents and culture media for microbiological testing
  • Maintain laboratory cleanliness, calibration records, and chemical inventory
  • Support R&D team with bench trials and sample preparation
  • Flag out-of-specification (OOS) results to quality supervisor
