A Day in the Life

A Floriculturist spends their day cultivating and managing flowering and ornamental plants, often for commercial purposes. This involves planning, planting, nurturing, harvesting, and preparing plants for sale or export, ensuring optimal growth and quality.

Plan and design planting schedules for various flowering and ornamental plants.
Prepare soil, plant seeds, bulbs, or cuttings, and manage propagation.
Monitor plant health, identify pests and diseases, and implement control measures.
