A Day in the Life

Provide food and beverage service to guests in a hotel restaurant, café, or bar — taking orders, serving food and drinks, maintaining table cleanliness, and ensuring a positive dining experience.

Set up dining tables and restaurant area before service
Welcome guests, present menus, and take food and beverage orders
Serve food and drinks accurately and to service standard
Respond to guest requests during the meal (refills, condiments, allergies)
Assist guests with menu choices and recommend dishes
Clear tables after service and reset for next guests
Handle payment through POS (cash, card)
