An Export & Marketing Manager for Gems focuses on expanding the global reach of Sri Lankan gemstones and jewelry. This involves market research, developing international marketing strategies, managing export logistics, and building relationships with overseas buyers and distributors.
- Conduct market research to identify new international markets and trends for gemstones and jewelry.
- Develop and implement export marketing strategies to promote Sri Lankan gems globally.
- Manage the entire export process, including documentation, customs clearance, and shipping logistics.
- Build and maintain relationships with international buyers, distributors, and trade partners.
- Represent the company at international gem and jewelry exhibitions and trade fairs.
- Negotiate sales contracts and terms with overseas clients.
- Monitor global gem prices, competitor activities, and regulatory changes.
- Collaborate with production and design teams to ensure products meet international quality standards and market demands.
