Their day involves conducting site inspections, monitoring environmental parameters, educating farmers on best practices, and investigating complaints related to environmental pollution.
- Conduct regular site inspections of farms and agricultural facilities to assess compliance with environmental regulations.
- Monitor environmental parameters such as water quality, soil health, and air emissions in agricultural areas.
- Investigate environmental complaints related to agricultural activities (e.g., pesticide runoff, waste disposal).
- Educate farmers and agricultural stakeholders on sustainable farming practices and environmental best management practices.
- Prepare inspection reports, compliance notices, and recommendations for corrective actions.
- Liaise with government agencies, local communities, and environmental organizations.
