A Day in the Life
You conceive, build, and scale a technology-driven or innovation-led startup. Your week oscillates between building the product, selling it to early customers, pitching to investors, and recruiting the right team — all while keeping the company's vision intact.
- Define product roadmap and prioritise features with the tech team
- Conduct customer discovery interviews to validate assumptions
- Pitch to angel investors or venture capitalists
- Review unit economics, burn rate, and runway
- Lead team stand-ups and clear blockers for the engineering and design team
- Develop go-to-market strategy and run growth experiments
- Write investor updates and board communications
- Engage with accelerator mentors and advisors
- Manage partnerships and B2B sales pipeline
- Iterate on messaging, branding, and product-market fit positioning
Work Environment
Modern co-working spaces (Hatch, Dialog Playground), home offices, and investor meeting rooms. The environment is fast-paced, collaborative, and constantly evolving. Travel to conferences and investor meetings is frequent once traction is established.
