A Day in the Life

Manage end-to-end operations of a Destination Management Company (DMC) — overseeing product design, supplier networks, international client relations, and group tour execution across Sri Lanka.

  • Develop and price bespoke tour packages for international wholesale clients (European, Chinese, Middle Eastern tour operators)
  • Manage supplier network (hotels, guides, transport, activity providers) and negotiate contracts
  • Handle incoming tour group operations from airport arrival to departure
  • Communicate with overseas partners on itinerary customization, pricing, and special requests
  • Oversee ground operations team (guides, drivers, coordinators)
  • Manage crisis situations (flight delays, guest medical issues, attraction closures)
  • Review and approve customer proposals and quotations
  • Attend international trade shows and conduct sales visits to key overseas markets
