A Day in the Life
Data Analyst / BI Leads manage both the analytical work and the business intelligence strategy — overseeing a team, defining data architecture for reporting, and being the go-to person for data-driven decisions at the business level.
- Lead BI team stand-ups and manage project pipelines
- Design and maintain enterprise data warehouse schemas
- Build executive-level dashboards and KPI frameworks
- Mentor junior analysts on SQL, visualisation, and analysis
- Define data governance and reporting standards
- Present strategic insights to C-suite and board
- Evaluate and select BI tools and platforms
Work Environment
Corporate environment with regular C-suite interaction. Mix of deep analytical work and leadership/communication responsibilities.
Typical hours: 48h/week · WLB score 7/10 · OCCASIONAL overtime
Leadership adds meeting load. Quarterly reporting periods can be intense. Generally good WLB otherwise.
