About This Role
Soldiers (Other Ranks) form the bulk of the Sri Lanka Army across infantry, artillery, armour, signals, logistics, and support corps. Entry is from O/L level with a physical and medical selection process. Training is conducted at respective regimental training centres.
A Day in the Life
A Soldier's day is highly structured and physically demanding, involving rigorous training, operational duties, and maintaining equipment. This can include infantry patrols, artillery operations, vehicle maintenance, or logistical support, all under strict military discipline.
- Participate in physical training, drills, and combat exercises
